We published our 136-council projections yesterday. Today we are making them explorable.
The results browser lets you drill down from the national picture to individual wards. Start at the top with aggregate vote shares and council control totals. Click into a region. Click into a council. See the ward-level breakdown with projected vote shares, seat counts, and confidence ratings for every contest.
What you can do
- Search any council. Start typing a name. Results filter as you type. No scrolling through tables.
- Drill down four levels. National to region to council to ward. Each level shows the data that matters at that level.
- Share any result. Every council and ward has a unique URL. Link directly to
kronaxis.co.uk/election-results/council/birminghamand the page opens at that council with full social media preview cards. Social share buttons on every view. - Party-coloured bar charts. Vote shares rendered as horizontal bars in party colours. The shape of the contest is visible at a glance.
- Sortable ward tables. Click any column header to sort. Find the closest races, the safest seats, the biggest swings.
- Confidence ratings. Every council projection carries a confidence tier (high, medium, low) based on the consistency of the underlying persona responses. Low-confidence calls are flagged so you know where the model is less certain.
Prediction cards
Every council also has a prediction card: a standalone image showing the projected result, vote share bars, net seat changes, and confidence rating. These are designed to be shared on social media or dropped into a presentation.

Data updates
The browser is not static. We will rerun the full 136-council projection twice more before polling day:
- 1 May: V3 projection with the latest national polling data, capturing any late campaign movement.
- 6 May: Final pre-election update with ward-level disaggregation for the 20 earliest-declaring councils.
When we rerun, the browser updates automatically. Bookmark it now and come back on election night.
