Kronaxis Intelligence Panel

Psychometrically-grounded synthetic audiences for any research domain.

Each synthetic person carries a validated personality profile, a documented life history, and responses to 13 international social surveys, seeding genuine opinions on politics, religion, work, family, inequality, and environment before they see a single stimulus. Consumer campaign pre-testing, political message simulation, public policy modelling, and AI training data production. Results in hours, not months.

Every existing method is structurally broken

Consumer research has not fundamentally changed in thirty years. The three dominant methods all produce flawed data by design.

Focus Groups

Social desirability bias

People say what they think the moderator wants to hear. A high-Yielding respondent endorses a product they privately dislike rather than disappoint the room. The data reflects social dynamics, not genuine response.

A/B Testing

Requires production commitment

You must commit budget, build the variants, and run real users through an inferior experience for days or weeks. A/B testing tells you what happened. It does not explain why different people responded differently, and it cannot test ideas that do not yet exist.

Surveys

Stated versus actual behaviour

Surveys measure what people say they will do. Decades of behavioural research confirms the gap between stated preference and actual behaviour, particularly for purchases, financial decisions, and anything socially sensitive. You are measuring intentions, not actions.

Built on thirty years of personality research, extended for the digital age

DYNAMICS is our proprietary 8-dimension behavioural simulation framework. It extends established personality science (Big Five, HEXACO) with two dimensions purpose-built for digital behaviour: Acuity (digital platform fluency) and Impulsivity. Each dimension is scored 0.0 to 1.0 with four facets, giving Kronaxis the most complete model of human behavioural variation available for synthetic audience research.

Stanford University research published in 2023 and 2024 demonstrated that an AI system primed with a detailed life narrative about a real person replicates that person's responses with 85% accuracy. Kronaxis inverts this: start with a target demographic and construct the people who match it, not copying any individual, but calibrated against the public behaviour of similar real consumers.

D
Discipline
Organisation and self-regulation. Governs engagement with detail, specifications, and process-led messaging. High scorers are the comparison-shoppers; low scorers are impulse-responsive.
Y
Yielding
Cooperativeness and warmth. Governs how strongly a person defers to authority claims, endorsements, and social approval signals. High scorers are highly endorsement-responsive.
N
Novelty
Curiosity and creativity. Governs receptiveness to novelty, disruption messaging, and experimental products. High scorers are early adopters; low scorers need familiarity and proof of concept.
A
Acuity
Digital platform fluency. Governs how naturally a person navigates digital environments, adopts new platforms, and engages with technology-mediated experiences. Purpose-built for digital behaviour simulation.
M
Mercuriality
Anxiety and sensitivity to threat. High scorers are risk-averse in financial decisions; responsive to safety and security messaging. Low scorers engage with adventure and spontaneity framing.
I
Impulsivity
Spontaneous decision-making and susceptibility to immediate reward. Governs response to urgency messaging, limited-time offers, and impulse purchase triggers. Purpose-built for consumer behaviour modelling.
C
Candour
Sincere and modest versus self-serving. High scorers are averse to luxury marketing; low scorers are responsive to status signals. Governs response to aspiration-led campaigns.
S
Sociability
Social energy and positive affect. High scorers respond to social proof, community, and shared experience messaging. Low scorers respond to individual benefit and privacy-centred framing.

Grounded in 45 years of validated international survey research

DYNAMICS gives each synthetic person a stable personality. Cross-national social survey research gives them genuine prior opinions. Academic research consortia across 45 countries, including programmes behind the British Social Attitudes survey, have administered identical validated instruments across populations and time since the early 1980s. Those instruments map the territory of human social opinion.

Before any synthetic consumer sees a client stimulus, Kronaxis administers structured survey instruments across 13 validated research domains. Their stated opinions on work, family, politics, religion, inequality, and the environment are recorded and propagated forward into every subsequent stimulus response. This is not simulated opinion. It is opinion derived from validated instruments used by academic and government research programmes worldwide.

Social Trust

A synthetic voter who scored high on authoritarian values in the Role of Government module and low on social trust responds to a party political message in a fundamentally different way from one who scored high on civic participation and institutional confidence. The difference is not generated on the fly. It was recorded months before the stimulus arrived.

From demographic specification to predicted response

01
Panel specification
Define your target demographic: age range, geography, income bracket, lifestyle indicators. Specify the size of the panel (typically 200–2,000 synthetic consumers). Kronaxis constructs personality profiles that match the demographic distribution, calibrated against the public social behaviour of real people who match the profile.
02
Persona construction
Each synthetic consumer receives a detailed life narrative consistent with their personality profile and demographic: employment history, household context, prior brand relationships, financial situation. This history forms the personal context through which they interpret any stimulus, and persists across all subsequent interactions.
03
Stimulus injection
Your campaign, message, product description, pricing, or concept is submitted as a stimulus. Every persona in the panel evaluates it through their own personality and personal context. The same stimulus genuinely produces different responses from different people, for the same reasons it would in the real world.
04
Quantitative and verbal output
Results are aggregated across the panel and segmented by personality type: response rate, predicted purchase intent, preferred channel, time-to-conversion, and sentiment. Optional verbal response mode generates a sample of conversational replies in each persona's own voice, giving you the actual language your target consumers use when they think about your product.

Why this is not a survey tool

Synthetic data tools already exist. They produce statistical distributions that mimic training datasets. What they do not produce is a panel of agents with individual personality, persistent memory of their own experiences, and the ability to respond to arbitrary future stimuli in ways determined by their character rather than by a statistical rule.

Persistent memory

Panels persist and develop over time. A persona that encountered your brand six months ago in a different context remembers it. Longitudinal brand tracking, category evolution, and campaign sequence effects are measurable because the panel has a history.

Causal, not correlational

The predictions reflect the causal mechanisms of human decision-making: personality driving plans, plans governing receptiveness to stimuli. Not historical correlations from training data. The model explains why a segment responds differently, not just that it does.

No social desirability bias

Synthetic consumers have no moderator to please and no social group to conform to. A high-Yielding persona still produces their genuine character-driven response, not a performance of agreeableness for an audience.

Test before it exists

A stimulus does not need to be a finished production asset. A sentence description, a rough concept, a pricing scenario, a messaging variant that has not been designed yet. Any of these can be injected. No traffic required, no production commitment, no A/B test infrastructure.

Every panel run produces two products simultaneously

Alongside the market research report, each panel run exports a structured training dataset: DYNAMICS-tagged, causally grounded, and ready for direct ingestion into a model training pipeline. This is the product AI developers cannot find anywhere else at this fidelity.

What other synthetic data tools produce

Statistical distributions. Rows that resemble training data in format. Useful for augmenting tabular datasets and filling distribution gaps. Not useful for teaching a model how a specific type of person reasons through a decision.

What Kronaxis produces

Reasoning traces. Each record captures a specific persona, with a documented personality profile, a constructed life history, and a current emotional and economic state, processing a stimulus and producing a response. The data shows why a person chose option A over option B, not just that they did.

DYNAMICS-tagged records

Every record includes the full eight-dimension DYNAMICS profile of the generating persona. Filter, weight, and sample by personality type to produce training corpora balanced across the human personality distribution or targeted at a specific segment.

Consistent cognitive voice

Each persona has accumulated memory and consistent behaviour across months of operation. A record from a given persona on stimulus 12 is written in the same cognitive voice as every prior record from that persona, across all domains and emotional states.

Built to government specification

The cognitive models generating this data were engineered to satisfy government-grade authenticity requirements, not simplified for commercial use. That engineering standard is the quality certification. No other synthetic data supplier built their system to this requirement.

Export format and supply arrangements

Training data exports as JSONL. Each line contains the instruction prompt, the persona's response, full DYNAMICS profile, emotional state at time of response, and panel/run identifiers for provenance. Compatible with instruction-following, preference-pair (RLHF), and chain-of-thought fine-tuning pipelines.

Data supply agreements are available for foundation model developers, AI research labs, and enterprise AI teams. Custom stimulus domains, volume pricing, and dataset specification to requirements.

What organisations use the panel for

Campaign Pre-testing

Test creative executions, headline variants, and visual approaches against your target personality segments before media spend is committed. Identify which segment responds best to which execution.

Product Launch Modelling

Simulate consumer response to a new product across price points, feature sets, and positioning variants. Identify the configuration that maximises predicted purchase intent for your target demographic before a single unit is manufactured.

Pricing Research

Inject different price points as stimuli and measure predicted response across personality segments. The segment most sensitive to price comparison and value calculation identified automatically.

Message Testing

Compare five positioning messages for the same product in under an hour. Receive quantitative response rates broken down by personality type, plus sample verbal responses in each segment's language. Research that would take four focus groups and six weeks takes forty minutes.

Competitive Response Modelling

Feed in a competitor's launch, price change, or campaign as the stimulus. The panel simulates how your target consumers process it. Identify whether the competitive move threatens your position and in which segments the impact is greatest.

Longitudinal Brand Tracking

A persistent panel that develops over time allows tracking of brand perception changes across campaigns, category news, and competitor activity, without re-recruiting respondents, without panel fatigue, and without the cost of continuous fieldwork.

Political Research

Voter Sentiment and Message Testing

Simulate voter response to campaign messaging, manifesto commitments, and political events across demographic and personality segments. Identify which messages land with swing voters without conducting fieldwork in marginal constituencies. Test narrative framing for policies before public release.

Policy Simulation

Public Response Modelling Before Announcement

Model how different population segments will respond to a proposed policy intervention (tax changes, welfare reforms, public health mandates, planning decisions) before the policy is announced. Identify where opposition will concentrate, which communities face disproportionate impact, and how communications should be calibrated for each segment.

Defence & Intelligence Research

Population Sentiment and Influence Pathway Modelling

Model how specific narratives propagate through synthetic population cohorts differentiated by personality, trust, and prior belief system. Identify which segments are most susceptible to influence operations. Test counter-narrative communications before deployment. Supports DSTL and defence-adjacent research programmes.
