Consent, 2022-09-09 · Tewkesbury Borough Council · 22/00823/TPO - TPO199 (T2) shown as T42 Poplar on the submitted plan. This tree has declined quite rapidly over the summer and is now dropping several healthy and reasonably sized branches. Overhangs the staff car park and therefore targets cannot be removed. Crown reduction nearly always leads to extensive cyclic pruning which reduces the visual amenity or leads to pockets of decay/rot appearing at the reduction points thus leading to future failures. Works proposed to fell, grind out stump and replant with a more suitable species for its location.
