The tree overhangs the wishing line and the path to the vegetable area which is used daily ? so I am now very worried that a branch will fall when someone is nearby and they will be hurt. I was told by a tree surgeon that it has verticillium wilt and can?t be saved. I would be very grateful if you can give me permission to take it down. We would replace it with a silver birch in due course.
