- Apple Tree - A1 - Pollard to 2m from ground level, is uprooting and falling over, would like to reduce crown weight in an attempt to save tree
Have No Objection To, 2025-01-31 · Cambridge City Council · 24/1491/TTCA - The tree shown as Tree 2 (Ash tree) on the plan is also an Ash tree and is in the rear garden of The Pavilion. This tree has a co-dominant stem which is of concern as these can weaken the tree and cause it to fall. This tree is also very close to the property known as The Pavilion. Due to the co-dominant stem, the size of the tree and the proximity of the tree to a dwelling, it has been advised by a qualified tree surgeon that this tree is also pollarded to approximately 8 - 10 metres to provide sufficient clearance from the property.
Withdrawn, 2023-12-22 · Cambridge City Council · 23/1286/TTCA - Removal of chimney which forms part of the C20th extensions to the rear of the dwelling
Refused Permission, 2023-04-25 · Cambridge City Council · 23/00699/HFUL - Change of use of agricultural land to domestic garden
Withdrawn, 2021-09-13 · Cambridge City Council · 21/03522/FUL - Willow - W1 - Fell large pollarded willow in back garden has outgrown its situation.
Have No Objection To, 2019-06-21 · Cambridge City Council · S/1900/19/TC - Please see attached file Tree 1 and Tree2 as a site plan. As can be seen the Tree in question is shown on the plan above as one of two lopped Ash trees. The tree is actually on our neighbours property however the tree has a split trunk and part of the lower tree and branches is fully over our boundary. The tree trunk that is growing over our property is now very dangerous. It is too big and too close to our listed thatched cottage. Also the tall branches of the tree are growing on and through both electricity wires and telephone wires posing a risk to the wires being pulled down and causing danger to our property and those of our neighbours. We are requesting permission to remove the lower split trunk that it growing over our boundary and which has grown so tall that it is growing through wires as noted above. The works will not affect the tree on our neighbours boundary and not remove the tree completely just the one lower split of trunk which is growing separately. I have attached several photographs identifying the tree and the dangers of the branches growth through the wires - see attached.
Granted Permission, 2018-04-18 · Cambridge City Council · S/1222/18/TC - removal of leylandii hedge/tree line at bottom of rear garden - labelleed G on enclosed drawing no.7. These are overshadowing and affecting the growth of adjacent fruit trees. It is proposed that the leylandii will be removed to ground level and roots ground out to ensure no future re-growth
